Hi Summer! (Hi all!)
Just a little note to catch up. Last weekend I tore out the sink in our bedroom, and cut out some floor boards, and replaced the water valves and did a first round of patching... Haven't gotten to work on it for the last two nights due to classes for summer!
Monday night was our second night of Lamaze. Jess was really tired. Work has been tough and she comes home exhausted. I guess they think a lot of women aren't working? These classes are from 6:45-9:15. Only three to go. Should be a good class. Help learn how to focus and relax. Help reduce the tension which will help reduce the pain during labor.
Tuesday night was our last class for various subjects. Gwen is the teacher and she's great. We took Labor and Delivery (which is also covered in Lamaze), newborn care and last night was Breastfeeding. Jess and I read so much, but we both still learn something in every class. Summer, you are going to be a handful! :-)
Tonight I get to work on the bathroom a little. More wall patching/prepping and working on getting the flooring to fit. Just maybe will also glue it down. Tomorrow I have a focus group, so another night is going to not allow us to work. Friday night, we'll continue with the wall prep, and possibly get in a coat of paint finally. Saturday we get to goto Laila's 1st Birthday Party. Laila is Daddy's friend Gus' daughter. You'll get to know her as you grow up, Summer. We'll also put on another coat of paint and put in the vanity. Sunday is Babies R Us for a few more necessities (your car seat for my car, your pack-n-play and a few other things) and hopefully finish up the master bathroom sink/vanity area. Oh, yeah, and hopefully hit Lowes to order a vanity top for your bathroom. We don't think we'll replace the full vanity, just the top and faucet and such. The week after that, may possibly be the tile/tub replacement...then we're ready for you! Time is getting close, your due date is 6 weeks from today! See you Soon!!!!
