It's a GIRL!!!!!!

Well, here we are in the hostpital, again. It's Jessica's Birthday and we're here to do the main ultrasound. This ultrasound is to measure al the parts and make sure everything is in the right place and healthy. Well, everything looked GREAT!

With this ultrasound we can also determing the baby's sex, if we want....and by the title of this post, you can already see what we found out! Here's a picture of the proud mommy before the appointment. Hi Jesssica!



There were a bunch of pictures taken to find out all the measurements and everything. This is an over the shoulder view. The dark black spot is her left eye...her...I guess now's as good a time as any...when we met and started dating and talking about having kids we thought about names we came up with a girls name pretty easily. Please meet Summer Riley!



This next picture you can see Summer's face. Isn't she cute? In an Alien sort of way. :-) Just kidding Summer. She was moving around a lot near the end of the scan, trying to get comforatble for a nap. During the scan, though, she was very helpful and stayed still...which is why we are nearly 100% positive she is Summer. The technicians said it's pretty much a lock! Anyway, here she is, with her arms up to her head. She's smiling for the picture!



This last one is just a picture of her lying on her side. She has a nice strong spine and good skin coverage...no spine growing out of her back....whew!! On the right is her head. During the scan we could see her sucking, opening and closing her lips.



Well, that's it for now! We are super excited and happy! We cannot wait to start buying the baby furniture and bedding and more clothes! YAY!!
